My babies are back!!

I was really looking forward for March 13, the days my babies tua would be coming home for the holidays...


It was a tiring day as later in the day we had to rush to a cousin's house for Birthday BBQ. The food was superb. I attacked the grilled chicken wings, Mia enjoyed the lamb chops and grilled tiger prawns, Pu3 the meatball spaggetti, Zaryff was into the home made sausages and onion bread and Anastassia? All of the above plus fried rice..... hehe. We tapaued home some left over Big Apple donuts and yeah you guessed it right. Yours truly put on weight although I did not take any rice that night.... Sigh............ mmmm.... but who cares right? haha.........


We're just going to stay at home during the hols. Mia wants to study and just enjoy the time at home, Anastassia wants to prepare for her Public Speaking competition. All the kids have homework, anyway ...... and swimmings lessons.... taekwondo...... Basically we just want to have a quiet week among ourselves.... I can see that the younger kids missed their kakaks a lot.... well I missed them to and what i want to do is just to snuggle up next to them on the sofa.


Mia started reading her books almost immediately after we reached home. Her exam results has improved and I am so happy for her. PMR would be in October and I can see the determination in her eyes to get straight As. She talked a lot about the SPM results which was announced recently... the joys of her seniors who got straight A1s and the tears of frustration of some who missed getting straight As just bec of a B. We discussed about Madihah, the Kelantanese girl whose day to day life brought tears to my eyes. How with having so little to begin with..... she determined to aim so high academically.... and she clutched it! And how the success open doors to her.... and also to her family.....


Anastassia is more responsible now, she seems like a new person in a way. Dia dah berhijrah, syukur alhamdullillah and I need to buy more long sleeve tshirts for her. "Mesti labuh tau mama, tutup punggung....." she reminded me. Ni baru balik from sending her to her friend, Jol*n*'s house to hip hop for a few hours..... hehe.... thats my Anastassia....


I also noticed that Mia and Anastassia are getting closer..... actually it started last dec holidays. The girls were never close dari kecik, due to different personalities..... and also due to jealousy amongst them. So its nice to see them giggle together, wink when they dont think that I'm looking, (maknanya ada secret la tu....) share stories, even share things......


These next few days would be fun......
